Clove and Neon are the only S-tier agents in Valorant right now, according to ranked match data compiled on October 5, 2026, the first full tier list after patch 13.06. The more interesting finding is who is not on top. Jett is the most-picked agent after Clove, picked in 13.6% of games, yet she lands in C tier with a 50.3% win rate. Omen sits in F tier at 47.8%. This list is built from data, not opinion, and we explain exactly how below.

Key takeaways
  • S tier: Clove (52.9% win rate) and Neon (52.1%).
  • Sage is the most underused strong pick: 52.3% win rate at a 1.3% pick rate.
  • Jett and Chamber are popular but only average, while Omen, Astra, Harbor, KAY/O and Breach are the weakest picks.
  • The whole spread is about 6 points (46.5% to 52.9%), so player skill still outweighs agent choice.

How this tier list is built

We did not rank agents by feel. The placements come from MetaBot.GG’s October 2026 tier list, which covers 29 agents and updates daily from ranked matches. Its tiers combine win rate, pick rate and how many games sit behind each result, so an agent with a high win rate over very few games ranks below a steadier one. That is why Deadlock (50.8% win rate, 0.6% pick rate) sits in D tier while Vyse (51.9%) is in B.

Two caveats matter. First, this is one data provider, and the skill bracket it samples is not stated on the page. Other trackers publish slightly different numbers: a Platinum+ list from esports.gg and Winio, for example, shows Clove at 52.7% and Killjoy at 52.1%, where MetaBot has Killjoy at 51.9% in B tier. Second, win-rate gaps are small. A one-point difference is not a reason to abandon an agent you play well.

The full tier list

S tier: Clove and Neon

Clove has the highest win rate of any agent (52.9%) and is also the most-picked at 13.8%, which is rare: popular and winning. Neon posts 52.1% at a much lower 5.4% pick rate, and she is the best-performing duelist in the data.

A tier: Sage, Cypher, Fade, Phoenix, Sova

Sage leads this tier at 52.3% but is picked in only 1.3% of games, so the data points to an underused pick. Cypher (52.0%) and Fade (52.0%) are close behind. Sova is the most-picked agent in the tier at 8.0% and holds up at 51.7%. Phoenix matches that win rate at 3.6% pick.

B tier: Vyse, Killjoy, Viper, Skye

Vyse and Killjoy both post 51.9%, higher than some A-tier agents, but with fewer games (1.3% and 1.9% pick rates) the model ranks them a step lower. Viper (51.1%) and Skye (50.9%) are fully viable picks.

C tier: Raze, Jett, Yoru, Chamber, Waylay, Reyna

These agents are average. The notable ones are Jett, picked in 13.6% of games at 50.3%, and Chamber at 10.4% pick and 50.1%. Players love both, and the data says neither is giving them an edge right now. Reyna (49.8%) is picked in 7.2% of games and sits below 50%.

D tier: Deadlock, Tejo, Brimstone, Veto, Miks, Iso

Deadlock’s 50.8% is actually a decent win rate, but it comes from just 0.6% of games, so the placement is cautious. Iso is the weakest here at 48.4%. Most D-tier agents are rarely picked, which also means the numbers are less certain.

F tier: Gekko, Omen, Astra, Harbor, KAY/O, Breach

These are the lowest-performing agents this patch, with win rates from 46.5% to 48.5%. Omen is the surprise: he is still picked in 2.4% of games despite a 47.8% win rate. Omen, Astra and Harbor are all controllers, so the data points to a controller meta built around Clove and Viper instead.

How to use this tier list

  • Solo queue: an S or A-tier agent who needs little coordination, such as Clove, Neon, Sage or Cypher, is the safest starting point.
  • If you main a lower-tier agent: the gap is a point or two, which is smaller than the gap between a player’s good and bad days. Stay on an agent you play well.
  • Starting fresh: since patch 13.06 every agent’s Agent Mastery progress starts at zero, so there is no sunk-cost reason to stay on an old main. See our Valorant 13.06 patch notes breakdown for how Agent Mastery works.

When this list will change

We update it when a patch changes agent power or when the data moves meaningfully, not on a fixed schedule. This version reflects patch 13.06 and data checked on October 5, 2026. Riot has said Map Rating arrives in patch 13.08 and Competitive Flex in 14.00, and neither is an agent balance change, so we expect the next real movement from balance notes.

What is the best agent in Valorant right now?

Clove has the highest win rate at 52.9% in MetaBot.GG’s October 2026 data, with Neon second at 52.1%. Both are S tier.

Is Jett still good in Valorant?

Jett is average in the current data: a 50.3% win rate at a 13.6% pick rate puts her in C tier. She is playable, but she is not giving players an edge over other duelists like Neon or Phoenix.

What is the best Valorant controller?

Clove, with a 52.9% win rate. Viper (51.1%) is the next best, while Omen, Astra and Harbor are in F tier.

How often does this tier list change?

When a balance patch changes agent power or the data shifts meaningfully. This version reflects patch 13.06 and October 5, 2026 data.
