Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact is HoYoverse's open-world action RPG, built around elemental reactions and a large cast of playable characters spread across seven nations. Version 7.0, Everwinter Without Mercy, launched on August 12, 2026 and skipped Version 6.8 to reach Snezhnaya, the Fatui's home nation and the last of the seven. The region runs on Kresnik energy and a train network, and the new Eye of Graeae tool lets you call trains, build Prime Ice Constructs and switch into a third-person shooter mode. The update also added Odette, a 5-star Cryo sword user, Alyosha, a 4-star Electro polearm user who was free in the first phase, a Cryo alignment for the Traveler and the Stellar Swirl reaction, which combines Anemo and Cryo. Version 7.1, A Rekviem for the Underworld, followed on September 23 with Commander Vesna and the opera singer Vodyanitsa, continued the Snezhnaya Archon Quest and doubled as the game's sixth anniversary. Our Version 7.0 guide covers the region, the new characters, the Archon Quest rewards and the banner schedule, with a 7.1 update section and answers to the most common questions. Palworld
Palworld is Pocketpair's open-world survival game where you catch creatures called Pals, build bases and put them to work in automated factories. It left early access with the 1.0 launch on July 10, 2026, and the first big balance pass, v1.0.3, arrived around August 11 to 12. That patch added no new Pals or islands. Instead it cut the late-game grind: the Aquatic Construction Kit for building on water now unlocks at level 23 instead of 66, Jetragon gear unlocks at level 70 instead of 79 and needs half the Missile Launcher AI Cores, and World Tree Holy Water is lighter, lasts longer and drops from expeditions, fishing and the Large Fishing Pond. Tree fiber is doubled, crude oil extraction is cheaper and faster, and dedicated server hosts get a new setting for enemy camp spawns near bases. Our v1.0.3 breakdown covers every change with the exact numbers, a checklist of what to recheck after updating, and the bug and exploit fixes most likely to affect you. It also explains why Palworld Online, the Garena mobile MMO announced on August 3, is a separate game that none of these changes apply to. Every article links to the sources it is built on.
